18/066.1.1 Query raised by a parishioner relating to development at the Old Stables, Manor Lane e.g. the “menage”, wood piles and building rubbish.

Councillor J Beaman outlined the history of the site. No further action required.

18/066.1.2 Hill Lane adjacent to Sherratts Wood Road in Middleton Green.

Overgrown roadside hedge between Sherratts Wood Farm land and the crossroads.

RESOLVED to write and deliver letter to the gate postbox.

Planning comment response date now passed.

18/066.2 Councillor Collins. School traffic / Children’s Safety issues at starting and finishing times.

Discussion on the following matters :- Inconsiderate parking, other parking options,

controlled road crossings, road markings, introduction of Speed Indicating Devices.

18/066.2.1 Primarily it was a matter for the School to take the initiative with regard vehicle parking and its associated children’s safety issues with involvement and cooperation of parents and those who accompany children to school.

18/066.2.2 RESOLVED to write to the School and also contact County Highways regarding the

installation of Speed Indication Devices (SID’s)

1 Reporting a problem with the river bridge on Dodsleigh Lane at Lower Leigh.

River course effecting the piling on the one side and silt in the left hand arch.

Information and photograph forwarded to County Highways Structure Team.

2 Finger Post at the junction of Leigh Lane and Parkhall Lane.

Knocked out of the ground in a road traffic accident.

County Highways aware of problem.

18/046.2 Councillor J Beaman. Matter raised by Mrs S Johnson - the matter of the missing highway road sign at the junction of Leigh Lane and Parkhall Lane which did include the Pentecostal Church direction finger.

County Highways are aware that the sign was damaged in a road accident.

Replacement in hand.

18/046.3 Clerk. The Notice Board at Lower Leigh had been completely refurbished by

Mr George Johnson and now reinstalled.
