16/089.1          To record that Mrs Elizabeth Backhouse of Lower Farm, Dodsleigh was presented
                        with a certificate from the Royal British Legion at the Remembrance Service at
                        All Saints marking 50 years of involvement with the annual Poppy Appeal in the area.

16/091             Outstanding Matters
16/091.1          Middleton Green Telephone Kiosk adoption.
16/091.1.1       The Chairman had asked Michael Johnson to paint the Telephone Box when weather
                        permitted.
16/091.2          Defibrillators.  Continued discussion on the provision of the next two units.
                        Agreed site for a unit at the Farmers Arms as determined at the November meeting,
                        no suitable location in Nobut found, similarly difficult to find a location in Dodsleigh.
16/091.2.1       RESOLVED to purchase two defibrillators from WEL Medical similar to the unit
                        previously supplied.
                        One to be sited at the Farmers Arms and the second unit at Middleton Green, in the
                        adopted Telephone Box, if a suitable location could not be found in Nobut or
                        Dodsleigh.  Should a suitable location be found in Nobut or Dodsleigh in the future and
                        the second unit was already located in Middleton Green Telephone Box another unit                     would be purchase to comply with the wishes of the donors.

                        Provisional budget proposals discussed.
                        Current year precept including support grant = £7,550, in maintaining the same
                        household Council Tax Parish Council levy an additional £88.74 would be raised in
                        2017 / 18.  A 2% and 5% increase would raise an additional £151 and £377 respectively

Presentation by Mr Mulvey.                        30 minute demonstration of the iPAD SP1 Defibrillator.

Followed by other issues and questions raised by Parishioners.

1          Mrs B Smallwood      Problem of dog fouling in the Churchyard.

2          Mrs Johnson              Raising the problem of dog fouling on the Recreation Ground coupled
                                                with some dogs still not being on a lead.

            Response                     They are know ongoing problems.  Policing and taking action is difficult

3          Mr McKee                 Raising the issue of poor highway maintenance and the state of the roads
                                                in the Parish.  The rural areas being the poor relations when compared
                                                with urban areas.  Action required - Petition the County Council, County
                                                Councillors and the local MP.

            Response                     The Parish Council are currently holding meeting with County                                                         Council Highway Officers.

4          Mrs Johnson              Repair of Potholes.  Comment on the poor workmanship.

5          Mr Slater                    The culvert at the bottom of Hill Lane at the junction with
                                                Intakes Lane and Raddle Lane.

6          Mrs Johnson              Comment on the lack of gritting on Leigh Bank.

7          Mrs Johnson              Footpath stiles at both ends of Footpath 36 damaged.
