Mr Ingram Mud on
the road in Lower Leigh
Mud on the road resulting in taking bales of straw out of a field. Mr Ingram had visited the family
responsible and the mud was cleared from the road following the
complaint.
There followed a discussion in relation to the recent spraying on fields
at Lower Leigh and the use of the site in Raddle Lane.
The issue of spraying on fields had been raised with the Environmental
Agency following the last Parish Council and the use of the site in Raddle Lane
will be raised with the ESBC Planning Enforcement Officer.
Mrs Smallwood Work being
undertaken on the property, Wood View, at Morrilow Heath
Concern was raised regarding work on the roof of the house without an
apparent bat survey being completed, filling in of a pool and a caravan being
sited on the land.
The matters raised to be passed on to the ESBC Planning Enforcement
Officer.
Mr Warburton Accidents at
the Parkhall Lane / Leigh Lane T junction
In recent weeks two vehicles had travelled straight ahead at the
Parkhall Lane Give Way T junction and crashed into the fence / hedge.
Request to be made to County Highways for their consideration and
solution to the problem.
Mr Wildon Defibrillator
and Gully emptying offer
Wildon (UK) Ltd are looking to install a Defibrillator at their depot in
Old Station Yard, Lower Leigh, and locating it so that it would be available to
the local community.
There followed a discussion on Defibrillators in Leigh with the
possibility of the Parish Council purchasing the next unit for installing at
the Village Hall, with others to follow, sited around the Parish
Offer of emptying blocked gullies within the Parish.
County Highways to be contacted to seek their approval.
