Cottage, Middleton Green.
Work
completed on laying a pipe and filling in the ditch completed earlier in the
day.

Recycling Centre closure.
An
agreement has been reached between the County and District Councils to keep the present
site open until September 2015 and then open a temporary facility until the new County
Council site is built.

Memorial. Meeting arranged with the Rev.
Sue Willetts later this week.
15/033.4 Land at Lower
Leigh. Query relating to ownership of
the triangular green within the road network.
A recent
request to County Highways relating to the proposal to install a bench seat on
the green
resulted in the response the it did not belong to County Highways.
This is at
variance with the advise received in 2012.
Further
discussions with the County Highways in progress.

The meeting was adjourned to hear the views of Mr & Mrs Barker on
this application only and reconvened thereafter.

recommend refusal by majority decision.
1 for, 1 neutral, 2 against.
Track not
justified, there already existed a track system and several accesses on to the site
from the highway. The existing access is
to an agricultural field, the work appears excessive related to its stated
aims. Introducing land drainage would
have been a less
invasive
development. If the course hardcore
track is retained then it would benefit from
a more
suitable top surface.

Snowden raised the issue of providing a Defibrillator, possibly a the
Village
Hall. Typical cost £500 to £1,100. The matter of security was discussed.

Wished to address the meeting regarding the Planning Application P/2015/00542
Sherratts Wood Farm.
Suggested that the Parish Council meeting could be adjourned at the
appropriate time, when the application is discussed at Agenda Item 7.3.1.

Comment on the apparent satisfactory outcome following the proposal to
close the Uttoxeter Recycling Facility.
Mr G Warburton
Comment on surface water lying on the roads in various places, e.g.
Middleton Green and Dodsleigh Lane by Dodsley Grange.
Mrs Smallwood
Comment on surface water on the roads at Moor Lane and Chebsey Bank.
The issue of surface water had been raised with County Highways with respect
to Dodsleigh Lane and Chebsey Bank.
South Staffs Water claim that the water is not from their supply system.
