Plan. No change. Meeting with Mr Read to be arranged.

proposal.
15/104.2.1 Possible sites
discussed for a unit located in Church Leigh.
Permission
and suitability for the proposed site to be sought and further advice
on the
units themselves to be obtained such as, ease of use, security, maintenance
and the
requirement for periodic checks.
With
respect existing insurance cover, the unit would be covered for theft and
damage and
our Public Liability policy would cover issues associated with its use.
15/104.2.2 The estimated cost
of the unit and a suitable cabinet would be in the order of £1,500
plus
VAT. Ongoing costs to be met by the
Parish Council.
15/104.2.3 Leigh W.I. to be
invited to contribute to the purchase cost.
15/104.2.4 Donation of
£124.00 for the Defibrillator fund received from Leigh 2016 Calendar

15/104.3 Senior Citizens
Christmas Dinner.
15/104.3.1 Report from
Councillor Snowden on the event which was successfully held in the Village
Hall on 12th December 2015.
15/104.3.2 Letter of thanks
from the Parish Council to Izzy Snowden for organising the event
15/104.3.3 Mrs Snowden is
prepared to organise the next dinner with a suggested date of
10th
December 2016.
15/104.3.3.1 RESOLVED to accept
the offer and for Mrs Snowden to determine which of the
existing
three caterers, who have previously quoted, to provide the dinner this year
as there
was very little difference in the quoted prices.
15/104.4 Wildon (UK)
Ltd. Offer of gully clearing in the
Parish.
Clerk’s
report. Waiting for confirmation from
County Highways giving permission
for Mark
Wildon to clear gullies on an emergency basis.
However, some gullies had
been
cleared earlier in the day in Lower Leigh in response to the flooding.

There is a

Damaged section that has temporary netting fitted requires repair. Potential problem with stock being moved
along Parkhall Lane.

Statement that Mark Wildon had cleared gullies in Lower Leigh following
the recent flooding.
Mr Wildon to be thanked for his work in clearing the gullies.

Congratulating Mrs Snowden on arranging a successful Senior Citizens
Christmas Dinner.
4 Mrs Dickin
Following the last Parish Council meeting at which concerns were raised
regarding the work being
carried out at Wood View, Morrilow Heath, Mr Dickin was approached the
day after the meeting and was abused by presumably be someone associated with
Wood View. Mrs Dickin questioned - who
told the applicant of the queries raised at the Parish Council meeting.
5 Mr Wilson
Response by Mr Wilson to Mrs Dickin’s comment, continued by outlining
the work that was being undertaken at Wood View and the liaison record with
ESBC Planning Department.
6 Mr Heath
Statement about the state of the roads in the Parish, in particular
Leigh Lane and Moor Lane.
Disgrace to the County Council.
The culvert headstone down Leigh Bank was still causing problems with
damage to vehicles.
County Councillor to be contacted and a note submitted for publication
in the Parish Magazine outlining how to report Highway faults.
