Precept.
16/102.8.1 RESOLVED to set at
Precept of £8,555 which raises an additional £1,000 above the
sum which
would have resulted in no change in the Parish Council element of the
Council Tax
Bill. Raising the Band D equivalent rate
from £18.00 to around £20.40.
The
additional sum is being raised to support additional work in the Parish, adding
to
the
defibrillator fund, replacement of notice boards, election contingency and
general
maintenance
of assets.

1.1 Raising a query regarding
Footpath 40, the positioning of the stile into the field of
Parkhall Lane opposite
the Post Office in Church Leigh.
The stile which had
recently been erected by the County Council Rights of Way team
had now been moved
further away from Church View by the same team.
Rights of Way
department at the County Council to be contacted.
1.2 Post meeting note. The Rights of Way officer stated that the
stile had been erected initially
in the wrong place and
that it was now positioned correctly, in line with the definitive map.
2 Mrs Smallwood
2.1 Responding to comments
from previous meetings about the distribution and coverage of the
Parish Magazine. Confirming that 191 magazines were delivered
around the parish,
therefore approximately
half of the households in the parish receive a copy of the magazine.
3 Mrs Lewis
3.1 Query why the
proposed post and chain fence around the
grass triangle at Middleton Green
was never erected.
Check to see if there
is still support in Middleton Green for erecting a fence
4 Mr Keeling
4.1 Requirement for piles of
grit to be provided on Leigh Bank.
Reminder following the
issue being raised at the November meeting.
Request for roadside
grit to be provided
down Leigh Bank.
4.2 County Highways did agree
to provide piles of grit but so far they have not been provided.
