Question - When is something
going to be done about the roadside trees and bushes on the section
of Parkhall Lane which runs parallel to the A50.
Response from the Clerk.
Highways England state that they will be cutting back the tree branches
that are rooted on the A50 side of the partition fence in the Autumn.
Regarding the growth rooted on the Parkhall Lane side of the partition
fence, County Highways are
aware of the problem and hopefully they will deal with the overgrown
local roadside verge once
Highways England have finished their work.
Councillor Snowden
Commenting about the continuing problem of parking on School Lane near
to the junction with
Parkhall Lane. The PCSO present
noted the problem and will pass the comments on to the new
PCSO for our area.
