17/072.1          COUNCIL RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting
                        of 4th September 2017 be signed by the meeting Chairman.

17/073             Outstanding Matters
17/073.1          Middleton Green Telephone Box Defibrillator.
                        Painting of the Telephone Box.  Waiting for the contractor to undertake the work.
17/073.2          Lime Close replacement bench
                        Clerk’s Report.  Awaiting confirmation from Councillor Whittaker that the proposed
                        grant has been authorised.  At present there is no opportunity to share transport costs
                        with any other local government organisation in the area.
17/073.3          Footpath maintenance.  Recreation Ground to the bottom of Chebsey Bank.
                        Grass Dryer Section.
                        RESOLVED to write to the probable landowner and request that the hedge is cut back
                        from the footpath during the Winter period.

Mr Warburton

Asking about the cutting of the roadside hedge on Parkhall Lane, the section between the local road and the A50.

Response         Highways England have programmed cutting back the growth rooted on the A50 side
                        of the fence in November.  It is then for the County Council to cut back the growth on
                        the Parkhall Lane verge.
