4 Minutes – Minutes of the Parish Council 10 th January 2022 had been distributed by
email prior to meeting. No comments and were signed by chairman.
5 Outstanding Matters
5.1 Application for Clerk received from Katherine Parkinson—to be discussed at end of
meeting.
5.2 Jubilee event, discussed and Councillor Raby had an email from Louisa Craven.
Councillors Raby and Wilson agreed to take this forward.
Councillor Barker proposed that £1000 should be allocated for a marquee (providedone
is available)
6 Finance
6.1 Financial Statement and Bank Account Reconciliation had been distributed and acting clerk
went through them and everything balanced as at Jan 31 st 2022
6.1 Ionis Website Carol Astbury £12.00 cheque signed
6.2 Croppers Ground maintenance £195.86 + £39.17 VAT Total £235.00 cheque signed
6.3 Imformation Commissioners £40 Cheque signed
6.4 Barclays Bank have now changed address of accounts to Councillors Beaman’s
6.5 HMRC There has been an overpayment and HMRC to refund in March, 50% PC’s and 50%
is the former clerks.
6.6 Agreed Hands and co will be appointed as internal auditors
7 Planning
7.1 P/2021/01425 Stonehouse Farm Withington Lane Withington ST10 4PU. Listed
Building application for the conversion of former barn to dwelling (Class C3) including
associated internal alterations and external alterations to include replacement windows,
repairs to timber framework and installation of roof lights – Awaiting comments
7.2 P/2021/01423 Stonehouse Farm Withington Lane Withington ST10 4PU. Conversion
of former barn to form dwelling (Class C3) – No objection
7.3 P/2021/01050 Field no 8200 Hill lane,,Middleton Green
7.4 Photovoltaic park –representative to attend next meeting.
Doesn’t seem to have been any progress on above

Notice to be put in Parish Magazine re Jubilee/ideas/volunteers---None fund raising
event
Councillor Whittaker to see if he can fund purchase of cradle seats,
Councillor Snowden explained that suggested Old age coach trip is not viable
financially. Suggested would expand 2022 event.
Footpaths around Middleton Green are in a bad way and have fencing across, letter to
be sent to footpaths officer.
Bi-monthly meetings discussed agreed to do trial after Annual meeting
Chairman thanked everybody for their contributions
After meeting agreed to appoint Mrs Katherine Parkinson as Clerk, commencement date 01/04/22
